Hi,
I would love to use the shortcodes of fe. confirmation tools in
Description 2
...
Let's say I would like to show the price calculation details with the
Description 2 option.
I would put in something like:
..............................................[OFFERSUMMARY] or
..............................................[INVOICETABLE]

At the moment, that would not be filled with actual data...
Would love to use that! :D

I am not sure what exactly you want to do. Are you trying to use template variables on the booking page?

Template varialbes only work after the booking was made because they use information from the booking.

Hi,
here is a image to show Image
Its just an example of course and the shortcodes shown are "just" a version that could be choosen....
Sorry... german page

... my idea was/is:
IF I use or have to use some obligatory fees, the booking Total of the search result can be quite different from Grand Total!
so a customer spots a price for - lets say a double room of 230 Euro. ... the botton says Book now! ... sort of thing.
THEN the Total shown on the actual booking page show
a)obligatory fees/taxes
b) optional stuff to book

Then the grand total price.
BUT if a customer does not choose any optional stuff, still the grand total is different, maybe
greatly different then the price shown above the booking button at search result.
Thats what I dont like ....
So if there is a choice for customer to click an see the grand total incl. taxes, fees and stuff
that would be great!
That could only be done with some autom. calculation of the system or
short code... already there!

Template Variables use information from the booking so they will only work after the booking has been made but not in the descriptive areas of the booking page.
