Hello

I am experiencing a problem with rates regarding Expedia. This portal seems to have lower rate from other Otas. The price is a few euros lower than the others. Is anyone experiencing the same? I have set the rates for the OTAS to 90 Euros and although booking gets this price Expedia sells my rooms 85$. Can anyone help me?

You can check what Beds24 sends to Expedia when you go to SETTINGS->CHANNEL MANAGER->EXPEDIA and then click on the "View Actual Data" buttons.

If this is not what Expedia displays check if you have auto calculations or linked rates in Expedia. If you need help with this ask your Expedia market manager for assistance.

This happens to me as well. I think Expedia does it themselves to undercut Booking.com by a couple dollars. That way people will choose them instead of Booking.com.

Hi, my problem is with Expedia as well but not really regarding prices but synch of the bookings. i get notification of the bookings by e-mail but the booking is not doen automatically on the system, i have to do it manually, and used to be automatic. Anybody knows what can I do to fix this? Thanx.

It sounds like you Expedia account is not set to send bookings. Have you checked this? Also double check that "Bookings" is ticked in SETTINGS->CHANNEL MANAGER->EXPEDIA.

Did this solution work for you? As I have the same problem, except Expedia said told me the following "we found sending record that our system cannot sent notification to your channel manager due to "No confirmation response received from Newtrade". Then a secondary notification has been sent out for this notification to email address [email protected] instead in the same date."

So it does indeed seem that Expedia are unable to send the bookings directly to beds24, however I do not know how to fix this and if it is a problem with Expedia or Beds24. Just emailed back to Expedia again telling them what this forum post says to see if that helps them to fix this problem or not.

If you have checked your settings in SETTINGS->CHANNEL MANAGER->EXPEDIA, and Bookings is ticked, however you are still not receiving bookings into Beds24. Then please raise a support ticket so we can check your settings in your account.
