When réservations are received from booking.com the email language is empty.
It would be really good to automatocally copy the language from the guests summary page to the email tab.
This allows us to send out emails in thier respective language.
Side comment. It would be really good to use the iso country codes. GB as opposed to EN.

This is not possible because Booking.com does not send language information through their XML.
Using country codes is not possible because the country does not reflect the language.

Thanks for the reply.
I do realise that booking.com does not send language détails however what i'm looking for is an assumption.
Booking from France = language French
Booking from England = language English
Booking from germany = language German .... etc
Based on rules like that is ther anyway (ie auto actions or a macro of some sort) to fill in the email language.

We have now added a function to deduce the language from the country a channel sends. Some countries use multiple languages (Switzerland, Belgium etc.) and there is no guarantee the guest can speak the language of the country they have specified so this function cannot be relied on to be 100% correct.
The function can be deactivated in SETTINGS-CHANNEL MANAGER.
