Rate set up for an event

Hi, We currently have 3 rates set up: a standard rate, a weekend rate and an off peak rate. We want however to set up a different rate on random days when events taking place e.g. 31st of December. On that day we would like to sell only 1 type of rate.
What is the best way to set this up?

I understand you are using rates?

Set up a new rate for the event and make all other rates unavailable. Best is you split your existing rates in the "Summary" tab of the booking and adjust your "Dates from" and "Dates to" in both so the rate does not apply to your event period.

Another option is to set the "Strategy" your "Event" rate to "Do not allow any other rates". This will work as long as the events rate applies to the same days ("Rate Allowed") and the same number of guests.

The 'Price Check' tool will show you which prices and rules apply for specific dates//selections and why a certain price or rule was applied or not applied. Just enter your booking condition then click on 'Calculate'. You can find links to the 'Price Check' tool on the RATES, CALENDAR and SUPPORT pages.
