Hello,
I'm trying out the system on the trial. So I need to get my head round lots of things! Before I do that I just want to check something that I can't seem to find in any of the documentation ...
I'm a single holiday home. I charge VAT 20% which is included in the prices I set. I've added this rate under the property description and understand it's inclusive. (So that's good!)
What I can't work out is how this information will be sent to the channels. For example, if a price of £120 goes to Airbnb I need them to know that the actual price is £100 and the VAT element is £20. This is because, if they can't distinguish between the 2 elements they will charge me a service charge on the whole amount, which amounts to an extra 3%, which obviously I don't want to pay!
Is anyone able to tell me if and how this is possible.
May thanks, Helen

For some channels, you can set the Tax as a Custom item.
For Airbnb, go to Settings > Channel Manager > Airbnb > Specific Content and scroll down to Custom and click (?) you can find the list of Custom fees including Taxes for Airbnb.
