Controlling future bookings...

Hi,

I would like to control how far ahead certain booking durations can be booked. For example, 1 night stays up to 14 nights ahead, 2-3 night stays up to 28 nights ahead etc.

I can't find any setting which could do this. Ideally I don't want to update on a daily basis.

For context, we have 14 bedrooms across 6 room types, and we wish to sell Standard (3 Day Cancellation) and Non Refundable Rates. We're still in the setup phase, and are hoping that the various room types and rates can all be interlinked, and operated from one 'master' rate.

Thank you for your time.

Hi,

You will need 2 Prices/Offers

Price 1 - Min stay = 1/Max stay, Max days in advance = 14 nights.
Price 2 - Min stay = 2 Max days in advance = 28 nights.

Please checkout this wiki page for more details. https://wiki.beds24.com/index.php/Offers

Check the (?) next to each setting for the context help.

Thanks very much - I will take a look at that today. I'm very much hoping I can link prices 1 and 2, so I only have to update 1...

Kind regards,

Martin.

This would only seem to be available via Fixed Prices, not Daily Prices? Is that correct?

Sorry, the Fixed Prices / Daily Prices and Offers setup in BEDS24 completely does my head in. I'm sure it will click into place at some point, but it hasn't yet.

So, I want to control how far ahead certain durations of stay can booked. I also want to have 2 night stays as being a fixed discount to 1 night stays (and again for 4 and 7 night stays). I then want to have 3 rates - which I think perhaps are the Offers? 1 for Non Refundable, another for Semi Flexible (cancellation up to 3 days prior to arrival) and lastly one for Flexible (cancellation up to 10am on the day of arrival).

So am I setting up Daily Prices for each the different durations that I want to control, which I think allows me to both link them in terms of fixed discounts, AND control how far ahead bookings can be made?

Then I have 7 different room types...

Can you suggest how I would best set this up so I have to update as few prices as possible please?

Thank you

You can use LINKED Daily prices, you setup the 1st daily price, set the rules, min/max stay, then min days until check-in and the max days in advance.

Then create the 2nd daily price, set the rules, then you can use the LINK to and link to Daily price 1, then you can set the offset either an amount or a percentage.

Continue for each of your rule sets.

Select the corresponding OFFER for each of your Daily prices.

Thank you.

To clarify, the Daily Prices are for the 1 night / 2 night stays etc, with the min/max stays and advance purchase rules.

And the Offers are for the Non Refundable / Semi Flex and Flexible Cancellation options?

Is that correct?

Finally, I think I've worked out Prices and Offers.

Thank you for your help.
