Hi,

How can we set that the outgoing email address is the same as the property email address. We have multiple properties in beds24 in 1 account.
So basically we need it like this:

property1, mail is sent and received via email address [email protected]
property2, mail is sent and received via email address [email protected]
etc.
With current settings, the mail is sent for all properties by [email protected] and it looks like I can only set 1 email address for all properties...?

Preferences / Outgoing Email
Own Email Address: yes
Use Own Email Address: [email protected]
Descriptive Sending Email Address: Mail1" <[email protected]>

and I have also this setting:

Standard Notification Emails
Administrator Email: [email protected]
System notification emails sent to ? Property email
Booking notification emails sent to ? Property email
Booking notification emails reply to ? Property email

Thanks in advance for your advice

Outgoing mail settings are per account.

If each property needs it's own mail settings, you can create a sub account for each property and move the property into the sub account.

I now created a subaccount for the property and added the email info where I could. If I acces the booking page via the subaccount, still the guest will receive a mail with masteraccount email as sender. So where otherwise I have to set the email settings then for the property??

subaccount login details
role: admin
email: [email protected]

account settings
outgoing mail: never use master account
support: beds24 will not answwer tickets

//outgoing email
use own email address: yes
sending email address: [email protected]
descriptive: property name
mailserver: set
username: [email protected]

send copies
Cc Email Address: x
Bcc Email Address: x

access properties in other accounts
property control panel: writable
property invcentory linking: writable
booking linking: writable

Have you moved the second property into the new account so it is "owned" by the new account?

It will not work if you leave the property in the original account and link it to the new account.

i.e. The mails are sent by the account which "owns" the property.

You can change the owner account of a property in the sub accounts menus

How can I 'move' the property to the subaccount? And then, how I can create subaccounts from the subaccount? And further more, for what are these property email settings in subaccounts used then:

subaccount login details
role: admin
email: [email protected]

account settings
outgoing mail: never use master account
support: beds24 will not answwer tickets

//outgoing email
use own email address: yes
sending email address: [email protected]
descriptive: property name
mailserver: set
username: [email protected]

send copies
Cc Email Address: x
Bcc Email Address: x

1. This help page https://wiki.beds24.com/index.php/Cate ... t_Account which opens when you click on HELP in the top right of the SUB ACCOUNT menu explains how to move a property to another sub account.

2. Only master accounts can have sub accounts. Sub accounts can not have sub accounts.

3. Did you have a look at the context help (?Icons next to the settings)? There you will find information about these settings.
