Is there any way I can set up this system so that, if I add guest information, it will update across all the bookings? I find it frustrating that, even when I go into a guest data record and add information, this does not automatically show up on their bookings - or am I being completely dense about it?

You can use the "Guests" functions to add information to guests which will then also be available in future bookings. Have a look here: https://wiki.beds24.com/index.php?title=Category:Guestsfor more information on how to use the guests functions.

I would like a function that automatically updates the information in all current bookings for the same guest - even when you link bookings, this doesn't happen - as well as being able to use this information for future bookings.

Does this not exist? And, if not, could it be considered for development?

Let me explain what is possible:
1. Make changes to the "Guest" as explained in my previous answer. These changes will then automatically added to future bookings for this guest.
2. Make changes in a group booking which apply to all bookings in the group. Have a look here: how to do this. http://recordit.co/ZrbyKJu9Nl.

Only changes made to a guest are available for future bookings. Applying changes in a booking automatically to a guest is not possible and is also nothing we are planning to add.
