I see that each new booking is allocated a number.
We already have our own numbering system so I'm wondering whether I need two sets or can adopt one or the other.
It would be good to know...
1. What is the basis for the Beds24 numbering - they don't seem contiguous but have gaps. What happens as the number gets larger; is there a limit?
2. Is it possible for us to change the booking number if we want to?

The booking numbers are unique within the Beds24 system amongst all users and cannot be changed.
If you need consecutive numbers without gaps you could use the assign invoice number function and use the invoice number as your booking reference.

Yes, the numbers are assigned in ascending order.joholm wrote:Another question: can we assume they will always be in ascending order according to time of booking?
