The booking referer (yes referer is misspelt on purpose in HTML, don't ask me why) is a HTML parameter that can be set independently in each booking link, button, calendar etc. that opens the booking page.
The referer text from the link that first opens the booking page is stored with the booking.
This can be used to identify the exact source of the booking.
The "original referer" is an unchangeable copy of this text that can also be used for purposes such as assigning commissions and credit for bookings.
The editable "referer" can be used for your own notes or purposes.

This will be handy, we should be able to do some analysis on the referer, perhaps at some point a graphical view would be nice to see which channels are performing best.
