Fairly new to this system and cannot seem to suss out how to customize the screen message that appears on the screen before you press the book button. i'd like to add more information about the booking. Eg number of nights, average rate night.
Also I wonder if it is possible to get a refresh button in the booking screen? Anyone knows?

Do you you mean the page where the guest enter they details? The information on the booking itself is not customisable but you have add information to the top of the screen in SETTINGS->BOOKING PAGE->PAGE DESIGN->CONTENT "Guest Details Header".
You can customise the confirmation screen message in SETTINGS->PROPERTIES->CONFIRMATION MESSAGES. You can use template variables to display information from the booking i.e. [AVPRICE] to add information on from the booking. Using template variables on the previous screen is not possible.
Are you using the responsive version of the booking page? This will auto refresh whenever the guest makes a change.
