We are required by law to collect the data of our guests. Is there a shortcode I can put into a message that does something like this? Smoobu has "[onlineCheckInLink]".

You can use one of the Integrations to manage the online checkin.

Go to Settings > Apps & Integrations and click on the (?) top right of the page and check the list of options.

Unfortunately none of these are suitable for the UK. Chekin seems to require a guest's date of birth which is not required in the UK and they don't reply to questions with their reviews on TrustPilot confirming this.

Have you signed up for a trial account at Chekin? You can send Support questions within their dashboard if you have specific questions/requirements.

You can check with them if you can specify the information required from your guests.

I did eventually receive a response from Chekin that the UK requirements are probably coming in the third quarter.

I do have a similar issue in Austria with Feratel Meldeclient. By law its required to send the information of ALL incoming guest to Feratel, but any solution offered by Beds24 is only capable to collect just the information from the Main Guest. So here is a real gap within the Check-In handling.

Hello, Guests can check in online through Feratel. All you need to do is send them the Feratel check-in link from beds24, and they’ll fill out everything themselves there.
