We have been using the Whatsapp link from the booking summary page for some time now. It took a while for us work out that unless the phone number is in the correct format then the Whatsapp link produces an error report "Phone number shared via url is invalid". Most of our customers simply enter their mobile number without the country code giving the error. It might be useful in your help section to emphasize the importance of the correct number format.

Could the booking form field be programmed to force the customer to specify the country code when entering the mobile number? this would save me time having to manually add it on every booking.

Auto-actions: You currently offer SMS messaging as on option for auto-actions. Please could you setup the same functionality for Whatsapp?

There is no way to force the guests to enter the correct number.

What you can do is to give more instructions for this field. You can go to (SETTINGS) > BOOKING ENGINE > PROPERTY BOOKING PAGE > DEVELOPERS under Custom and set the following: Telephone|Please enter the phone number correct: to send to phone number 015625346 in the UK (Country code 44) enter the following number 4415625346

This will show in your booking page form.
