Auto-action messaging using WhatsApp to send to a group / single user (via Picky Assist / or not?)

[This is cleaner management rather than guest management but I thought it was the most appropriate forum!]

I'm quite new to Beds24 (but not Channel Managers generally) - I've just mapped my single holiday let to Airbnb. I've set up my API auto action messages (I hope!) I'll be doing various other account set up stuff over the next month.

I have a WhatsApp group for Housekeeping - I have 3 cleaners and 1 gardener. We use it for all kinds of information e.g. list of changeovers, we've run out of this, I've changed the pillow protector in this room etc. I'm sure I could do all of this in a more sophisticated way! However, while that's being developed, I'd like to simply message the group when the house gets a new booking.

I can't find any comprehensive guidance on this but this is what I've picked up ... the best way to do this would be via an integration with Picky Assist, this integration will enable me to use the auto action functions already provided by Beds24 (i.e. I'll just get another messaging source option on the auto-action screen) and I will be able to send to a group via this route (not just to a single person).

1) Is my understanding correct?
2) Does anyone currently use WhatsApp for auto messaging? If yes, how do you find it?
3) Does anyone currently use WhatsApp for group auto messaging? If yes, how do you find it?
4) Is there anything else I should know?

Many thanks, Helen

Currently we do not have an option to automate messages via Whatsapp.

You can send/receive messages via Whatsapp if you connect your whatsapp account from your PC.

You will have whatsapps on the device and you can send a message to individual/groups.

Integration is on our development map, however we do not have a timeline for delivery.

I’ve created something similar using Beds24 Webhooks, Make and Telegram. Our security guards receive periodic reports with information about daily operations, including check-ins, check-outs, in-house guests, and other relevant data.
