Improving guest managment

Are you considering improving the guest management and guest database.

To include some basic stuff like:
When writing a guest name in new reservation - system should automatically offer the names of old guests as you type.
Also if we get reservation from the old guest, system should recognize it and link together with the older reservation.

And there should be some better search for the guests. There should be filters to search just guests from one property or guests from one country, for example. It should be searchable by all the fields in the guest info tab and also by time period.

Also there would be nice to include a way to have a group of guests. So in one group are all guests that came together and staid in the same apartment. Only one of them should be reservation holder. (like wife books the apartment and she is the reservation holder and in her group are husband and kids)


Is something like that o your to do list?

When you add a new booking you will see a a "Search Guest" field which does exactly this.

The system does this. It matches by Email address.

This is something we will look into with the next upgrade to the guest database.

Hi,

rather than recognising by email address, it might be better if you use phone number, at least for Booking.com as the guests' email address always changes according to the booking id. Or is there a way to set this right now?

You can search by name or Email address.

If you have the guests real Email address you can update the Email in the booking and the guest to the real one.
