Expose "Use prices and restrictions from" in the API

Hi,

I think it would be useful to show the setting for "Use prices and restrictions from" from the room dependencies tab in the v2 properties API.

All the other dependencies settings are there except for this one.

This setting has been depreciated, you should not use the 'use prices from' if you connect to channels as you can not specify the Channel Rate plan ids and it will cause errors, leading to prices being rejected by the channel.

If you want to link prices, then you should use the LINK option within the Daily Price Rules.

Thank you for your response I was not aware it was depreciated. I connect to channels and everything seems to work fine when connecting through the channel manager.

I don't connect directly to rate plans in the "Daily Price Rules" page.

From what I understand, if I link prices in Daily Price Rules this will only copy over prices but not restrictions like min stay etc. Is there a way for these settings to copy over as well?

The linking with Daily Prices will only link the prices, the restrictions set in the calendar can not be mapped to the other rooms.

You can set the rules from the Calendar, click Minimum stay the value and then 'Apply to' and set the rooms that the values should be used in.
