I just discovered Stripe is starting a new service to check identity of our client. I see as a very nice feature to increase security and would reallly like this to be somewhat linked with beds24 to use it to trigger action or change status etc...

We have been granted early access to this function and are testing it to evaluate an integration as a paid service.

For most countries you can only have a selfie checked against a document which the customer uploaded themselves but not verify the actual document. What you get as a result is a status (verified/unverified) the country, the image and the ID document. Also we find that the majority of requests is abandoned.

How would you imagine it to trigger? Manually?

Can you already see this option in your Stripe account? If so I recommend you manually test this on a couple of bookings.
