Buffer between bookings

As COVID-19 takes hold and threatens havoc within our industry, it would be great to have a means of inserting a no-booking buffer on either side of bookings for the same room. Desirably this would be automatic for all new bookings and of host-specifiable length; a different colour on the calendar would show prospective guests that we are serious about stifling the spread of this virus.

The setting "Block Dates after Check-out" in SETTINGS->PROPERTIES->ROOMS->SETUP allow to block days between departure and the next arrival.

Please note that his option is only suitable for rooms with a quantity of one, the logic will not work correctly with room types with a quantity greater than one.

Do you mean on the booking page? They will show there as unavailable just like other unavailable dates. Showing them differently is not possible.
