Hello,
I wanted to highlight some pricing discrepancies between B24 and OTA's around extra person prices. We try and keep our OTA and B24 direct price 100% in sync to avoid being penalised by the OTA's.
Let’s say our base rate is 50 per night for 2 pax and this is controlled via a b24 rate id. The extra person price is 15 / night. Let’s say we double the price for peak dates so on the price multiplier on the calendar we set the multiplier to 200%. So the OTA receives a price of 100 / night for 2 pax.
For 4 pax the OTA calculate 100 + (2 x 15) = 130 per night, i.e. the extra person price stays at 15.
B24 will calculate 2x{(50) + (2 x 15)} = 160 per night i.e. the extra person price is multiplied by the multiplier.
Is there any way of configuring b24 to calculate in the same way as the OTA's ?
thanks
PCS
exclude extra person price from price multiplier

The extra person prices are not used for channel management.
Every channel is slightly different in how they manage occupancy pricing so refer to the help for the channel of interest.
Generally, occupancy prices need to be setup and mapped as a set of room prices(one rate or daily price each), with a "maximum occupancy" value that sets the occupancy level for that price.
