I wanted to delete my (now redundant) post

but the delete icon is missing (when logged in).
Is it missing because one can no longer delete one's own post after someone has already replied to it?

If the post is plain wrong or contains information that should not be public you can edit it and delete the content.
For clarity it would be best to leave a short comment within the post that the post content was removed and why.
