Room management features

Dear support and members,
I am very enthousiastic to beds24 as it is halfway open system for us to develop own features.

I would like to add a few features to the room management from a housekeeping perspective:

a. Have a calendar, which shows status of room ( whether it is cleaned, assigned to X, not assigned or not);
b. Be able to assign a room cleaning assignment relating to a special booking to a housekeeper ( who has an sub-account within beds24);
c. The housekeeper has to option to confirm that he takes "onwership" of the cleaning action, or refuse, so that I can assign to another cleaner;
d. Be able to build a report anytime who would be able to tell me for today, which room is not yet cleaned and who is cleaner to assign to;

You may tell me this is more of a PMS system. I totally agree. I just wanted to ask if there are ways or tricks with variables to play around to reach these features or shall I start doing scripiong and interacting with APIs so to collect / re-insert data in the beds24 cloud data ?

There are built in PMS functions which allow you do to almost all of this:

a. Have a calendar, which shows status of room ( whether it is cleaned, assigned to X, not assigned or not);
In the CALENDAR you have the option to add a note to a unit or a status value. Preset unit status values can be defined in SETTINGS->ACCOUNT->PREFERENCES. This help page gives more information: https://wiki.beds24.com/index.php?title=Category:Rooms

You can use "Info Codes" to do this. Preset info codes can be defined in SETTINGS->ACCOUNT -> PREFERENCES "Booking Info Code Presets". Once you have set them up cou can select them from the preset list in the "Info Tab" of the booking.

This could also be done with "Info Codes". The cleaner can remove the info code assigning the task and set a new one.

d. Be able to build a report anytime who would be able to tell me for today, which room is not yet cleaned and who is cleaner to assign to;
Having both the rooms status and the status of the bookings in one report is not possible. You will need to use two separate reports:
-A custom report (REPORTS->CUSTOM REPORTS) in considering "Info Codes" for the status of the bookings
-A "Daily Unit Activity Report" (REPORTS->Standrd REPORTS) for the status of the rooms
