FIXED: calendar no longer shows guest info on departure AM

I realise that "
this page is resource hungry for the server to construct and contains some elements that are not relevant on past dates" but we absolutely
NEED the New Control Panel (NCP) calendar view to be able to display details of a guest that is still on our premises (if a phone call comes through, to see if they have any special medical needs, to see if they still owe us any money, to see if we have agreed a late check out, to call them a shuttle, etc, etc).
The way things are at the moment, all details of them disappear at the pumpkin hour of midnight on the evening before the morning they're due to check out from us. (You also seem to have changed the dates that display when we change the room they're on. Previously there was a local timestamp on the auto message - now it's stamped (I presume) with the European server time). My suggestion would be to use GMT for all times, except where the administrator has set a local offset. Incidentally, where exactly do you set the local time offset in the NCP, please?
Could we compromise and change the button to show ONE left facing chevron and display bookings going back just one week (so as not to overload your servers). If not, then 3 days?
It really is unusable otherwise.

A few people have pointed out that the departure day bookings cannot be accessed from the calendar "today" date.
I agree this should be possible so it now allows past dates to be displayed.

It's on the SETTINGS -> ACCOUNT page.

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy.
I see that the backward button (with two chevrons) now performs in an analogous way to the forward button, retarding the calendar view by the full period set in the Calendar view period pick list of either 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 month, 2 month, 6 months or 1 year.
Did you find a way to ameliorate the performance hit or is that something you'll just have to live with?
(I also note you're now displaying the calendar from the
previous day onwards when you hit the "Today" button which is a useful enhancement!)

Really?
I can't see it at Settings > Account > Preferences
and neither is it visible at
Outgoing Email
or
Host Notifications
or
Password
or
Billing
or, Mark.
When it becomes visible, I can amend this bug to "FIXED"...

Its on Settings -> Account and called "Time Zone (+/- GMT)".
Note this is the top level menu "Account" , not one of the sub menus

Ahhhhhh, now I see it (I was looking too hard - grin).
Incidentally, I think it would be more intuitive to change the "collapse" the sub-menus button from a
x (cross sign) to a
- (minus sign) as the logical opposite of the
+ (plus sign) you use to expand them.
I shall now amend this bug topic to "FIXED"...
