I know that the Stripe Checkout works with several languages, switching automatically to the customer's language when it detects the local setting but I believe that a setting has to be enabled first. Can you tell me if this works when making a booking through the beds24 booking engine?

There is not setting in Beds24 for the language Stripe uses. Stripe does their own language detection which is totally independent from what we send.
