Do you mean like this:http://wordpress.beds24.com/about-this-demo/?

All you need to do is paste the short code as described in the plugin settings into a text field. For example:

Code: Select all

[beds24-searchbox href="http://wordpress.beds24.com/search-results/"]

Where can I create this booking box within beds24?

I like to add search for location and advance search criteria to the box/calendar & strip

The short code is [beds24-searchbox]. When you log into your Wordpress site and go to SETTINGS->BEDS24 and then go to "Agency Seachbox" you will find details in how to use it

To set up your search terms go to SETTINGS -> BOOKING PAGE -> MULTIPLE PROPERTIES ->SEARCH CRITERIA. You have the options to set up a total of four sets which could be location, type of accommodation, amenities....

Then go to to SETTINGS -> BOOKING PAGE -> MULTIPLE PROPERTIES -> PROPERTY SETTINGS to define how and under which search criteria each property will be displayed on the agency page.

Thanks Annette.

So this option is only available with wordpress? (We don't use wordpress)

The general multiple hotel booking page has a search function, we have added criteria to the search in our admin panel. Can this be added to the search strip/calendar, etc?

Such a widget is only available for Wordpress but you can create your own widget if you want to. This help document https://wiki.beds24.com/index.php?title ... ing_Widget gives general information on how to create a custom widget.

Thanks Annette.

I have set up advanced search in the admin panel for individual properties. We feature two hotels currently.

However, if a search term is added to one property only and we search on that term only, all properties are listed in the result. Shouldn't that be only the hotel which has the criteria listed?

Can you give us a link so we can see your form?
