Check-in & Check-out calendar date format

Hello, would it be possible to change the date format of the check-in and out date? We are in the USA and it is more common to see the day before the month. So instead of "Th 25 Mar 2021" it would be better to read "Th Mar 25, 2021" or even simpler "03/25/2021".

You can set the format of the dates when you go to Account > Preferences > Date Format.

I changed it there but it not work, the check-in and check-out datepicker on the booking page is still the same. See attached screengrab.
Also, all three options still list the day before the month, which is not common in this country. Maybe there is a javascript I can insert to correct this?
