Booking.com don't charge commission on local taxes, such as city tax and tourist tax . They do, however, charge commission on VAT/GST.
Do Airbnb and Expedia charge commision on VAT/GST ? Is Airbnb and Expedia charge commision for city tax but not for the tourist tax ?

You will need to contact the channels so they can advise if they charge VAT on the charges for your listings.
