Fixed Price rate code

Hi!
One of our partners is using fixed prices, in order to differentiate the price they show on their website vs the price that we display on ours, we asked them to create a different fixed prices rate.
However, another issue arose: the fixed prices we got from https://api.beds24.com/json/getRates return all rates. In order to differentiate the prices, we asked them to fill ota_rate_id in the fixed prices rates edit page, this one: https://beds24.com/control2.php?ajax=rateedit&id=xxx, and since they have multiple fixed rates over multiple properties, and that is tedious, they don't want to do it.
My questions:
1. is my approach correct? if not, please suggest
2. is there a way to globally set the ota_rate_id?
