A new Online Travel Agent has recently launched in the UK called Hotel Bonanza. (Their point of difference is that they charge accommodation providers an 8% commission instead of the usual 12% or more that larger OTAs charge.)

Is there any development plan for a connection between Beds24 and Hotel Bonanza in the future?

Cheers,
Scott

Hello Scott,

At the moment we do not plan to integrate with Hotel Bonanza but we have added the channel to your watchlist.

If you sign up with them we would be interested to learn how the perform when it comes to generating bookings.

Thanks for the quick response Annette, and for including them on a watchlist.

We (Awatea Tasman Bay) have joined Hotel Bonanza and will certainly let you know how well this new OTA performs.

Cheers, Scott

We have also signed up with Hotel Bonanza so would also like to request a connection to them.

We get many requests from small and startup OTA channels requesting that we connect to them. OTA's in the startup phase will sometimes even run marketing campaigns encouraging our clients to make the connection requests for them.

While we want to support as many OTA businesses as we can, there are many who do not succeed in generating significant numbers of bookings.

There is a cost for us in every connection and we must allocate our resources to connecting to the channels which will be the most useful to our clients and generate the most bookings in the long run.

We are happy to look into investing the development time to set up a connection once Hotel Bonanza proves to actually generate bookings.

We too are considering listing with Hotel Bonanza, and wondered if anyone has a feel for how they are performing?

Like many, I would like to get out of being tied into other OTAs but, at the moment, they still seem to be doing a good job of generating business.

Thanks in advance.
