Properties that already have bookings from OTAs

I have a few questions,

If I have some properties that have already received bookings from booking.com before having been connected to the channel manager,
And I then start the connection process from the booking.com extranet, will I still be able to accept bookings from booking.com while the process of connecting the channel manager to booking.com is still on-going?

Also, when the connection goes through, will my availability be exported from booking.com to the channel manager dashboard? If I don't set daily prices from my channel manager, will the prices currently set from booking.com be exported to my channel manager?

Setting up the connection is a 4 step process:

1) You request a connection - nothing changes you are still bookable according to the prices and inventory you have set in the Booking.com extranet

2) Beds24 accepts your request - nothing changes you are still bookable according to the prices inventory you have set in the Booking.com extranet

Between step 2 and 3 you can map your rooms and rates, check everything and import existing bookings from Booking.com to block the booked dates.

3) You enable the connection in Booking.com - this is when Booking.com removes your inventory and rates and you are temporarily not bookable.

4) Beds24 sends prices and availability to Booking.com. You are bookable again. To send the update immediately click the "Update" buttons in the channel manager settings.

It is only between step 3 and 4 that you are not bookable. If your set up is correct this should only be a matter of minutes.

Exporting prices from Booking.com into Beds24 is not possible.

When you go to SETTINGS->CHANNEL MANAGER ->BOOKING.COM and click on HELP (top right menu) you will see detailed instructions.

Thanks, you answered most of my questions, just one more concern, before I take the leap...

So when beds24 updates my rates and availability, it will have the dates that were previously booked blocked out, but now I won't be able to see guests data on booking.com for those dates, right? because everything is reset to connect to beds24, I'll have to go to the beds24 dashboard to see who's arriving for those previous booked guests, until I get new bookings through booking.com, which will then show up in the booking.com extranet?

Bookings are not removed from the Booking.com extranet. Existing and new bookings are always visible in the Booking.com extranet.

It is important that you import existing bookings from Booking.com using the "Import Existing Bookings" button (between step 2 and 3) so that the inventory we send back to Booking.com is correct and does not re-open those booked dates.
