I manage a small hotel/pension with 23 rooms using Beds24.
I have successfully connected the HRS channel and reservations are imported correctly into Beds24. However, I have a problem with self check-in automation.
It seems that HRS does not provide the guest's real email address, so Beds24 cannot send my automated emails and Auto Actions (online check-in, access instructions, key codes, payment requests, etc.).
My operation is fully self check-in based, so it is essential that guests automatically receive their access information before arrival.
Has anyone found a workaround for this?
I am wondering if there is a solution where guests can enter their booking number and last name on a website, verify their reservation, and then provide their email address. Ideally, this would update the reservation in Beds24 and trigger the normal Auto Actions and automated guest communication.
Has anyone built something similar or is there an existing Beds24 feature, integration, or third-party solution for this?
How are other Beds24 users handling self check-in for HRS bookings?
