Hi, why does beds 24 not support emojis?

I get emojis from guests multiple times a day.

Your platform just shows ???? when someone sends emojis.

Your database does support unicode 5.2 but that is from 7 years ago, we are up to unicode 16 now.

Emojis are a necessary part of communication in messaging, and we also need to use emojis in VRBO listing titles and emojis in other platforms that allow it.

Airbnb does NOT ban emojis, they just no longer allow emojis in listing titles so I do not want to hear "airbnb does not support emoji's" in the response here.

Same thing here. A view emojis are suppored like .

But most emojis are not supported. We would like to use them in our emails to guests.

Beds can you please add support for the most updated Emoji library it can't be that hard.

Occupants send emoji's to us all the time and we would like to see what they are trying to communicate to us and we would like to send them emoji's as well, and not just the ones from the 1990's.

Beds can you please move this topic topic to the feature request area 2 other people have requested working emoji's

Isn't it simply a conversion of the database that is missing here?

I tested a few and though most do not work, there are some that DO work. You will need to make some tests on your own and there's no guarantee it will keep working (or that others will stay broken, either).

At least this gives me a few options for auto-messages, like confirmation (), general information () or request for review ().

Better support for emojis is on our roadmap. We anticipate this will be available later this year.
