Hi,
I got a message from google that the option "allow authentication for less secure apps" will probably be depreciated/disabled by google in June 2022.
Currently its only possible to connect beds24 email server with google if the option "allow less secure apps" is enabled in google account, because without this option enabled, there needs to be a popup window with additional verifications, when first time connecting to gmail from a new app or device.

Are you planning an update to the beds24 email server in order that we can still connect it to our google mail after the above option will be disabled?
Probably it will require an additional popup window which will ask for verification method when we first time setup the email server with google, in the same way like other email clients like thunderbird have this option and its possible to connect them without the "allow less secure apps"..etc.
So will you add an option to be able to connect the email server with google mail without having to enable the "allow less secure apps" in google?

p.s. Here is the link to google announcement: https://support.google.com/accounts/ans ... 0255?hl=en

Thank you

The communication by Google is misleading.
What I understand is that using your gmail username and password will be disabled (and this is a good thing, do not use your gmail username and password to connect an app)

Google App passwords will continue to work and this is the way Beds24 should be connected.
