I think the best way is to post a new reply at the bottom of the topic pointing out that you edited something, preferably with a copy or summary of the edited content.
That way it makes it easy for readers to identify what was edited and when by scrolling through the posts.

Re: Beds24.com server - uptime monitoring
There is a really cool plug-in for firefox called "tamper data" It lists every item being loaded by your browser and how long it takes for any web page you view. It is a great tool if you are looking to see what is going on "under the hood" as your page loads and a good starting point for optimising...

Re: Beds24.com server - uptime monitoring
In an airport lounge you are often sharing the internet with 10 or more people at the same time.
The bottle neck loading your website in cases like this is simply the capacity of the local internet connection to handle so many users, when it gets busy everyone slows down.

Re: Beds24.com server - uptime monitoring
The Beds24 server is located in Europe, naturally the further away from Europe you are the longer the data takes to come through the wire. As a test I did a traceroute from a computer in Melbourne Australia and have a response time of circa 350mS. (i.e. 1/3 of a second) I don't have access to a comp...

Re: Beds24.com server - uptime monitoring
We monitor the service in real time for faults but unfortunately this does not provide historical data. For your interest I have today setup an account at pingdom.com which will provide a public uptime report for beds24.com at the following URL http://stats.pingdom.com/qfmfhtp3gph6 As to uptime in g...

Re: Different rates for different booking sites
This can be done by creating multiple rates for the same season but each with different export prices. At the bottom of the rate settings page is a set of check-boxes which select which channel or channels the rate applies too. Using these check-boxes you can specify which prices get sent to which c...

Synchroniser importing bookings to the correct rooms
The Laterooms, Booking.com and Agoda synchroniser settings now have an optional field for room name. This can be set to the name as it appears in each channel and bookings will be imported to the beds24 room with the matching name in the new settings. This means each room can have a different name i...

Re: Sell multiple packages based on the same room
The recent logic changes included making the dependency logic recursive so dependent rooms of dependent rooms affect dependent rooms etc. Previously this was not the case and only the first dependent room itself was checked for availability and could have been flagged as available even if it was no...
