Rates and Yield optimiser

Hello everybody,

I have a standard rate and a yield optimiser rule for a certain date. Even if the trigger for the yield rule is met, the booking page gives the (lower) rate.
I found out by check price that is it says based on: Best Price calculation. Any idea how and where I can manage the settings for this Best Price calculator?

Thanks in advance and enjoy the weekend.

Can you post a little more information about your setup and perhaps the "calculation" output from the price check function?

Here is the Yield rule
Id Name Start Date End Date Days Before Check-in Units Available Price Multiplier Channel Management
Casa Spa d'Alma
Room
963 2017 120% mei tot oktober 1 May 2017 30 Sep 2017 21 2 or less 120% Yes

Below the price check for a day in May that meets the trigger 2 or less units available, here the final price should be €84 but it shows €70 which is the basic price.
And I changed the system time to 27 april 2017 to meet the trigger of 21 days-

The yield optimizer currently only works on the last 30 days before check-in

Okay thank you that is clear. Is this going to change in the near future, like 14 or 21 days before stay?

It affects the prices from 30 days before check-in up to check-in, depending on your rules.

I tried the same action with 30 days in the trigger of the rule, changed the system date, tried to make a reservation that meets the conditions of the rule and nothing happened. I mean where the price should become €84 per night it is still Best Price Calculation €70.

I send the rule and price calculation once again below. I have no clue about what goes wrong.

Thanks Theo

The 30 days is the time between today and check-in.

You are testing 2017-05-11 and today is 2017-02-28, that is more than 30 days

I told you that I made the test changing the system time on my computer to 27 april 2017.
Next I do the price check.
Now I do not if the program looks at the clock of the computer or some other clock but I'll make a new yield rule that is for March and see what happens.

Okay this works when 1 change the rule to the 1st of March. Obviously the program does not work with the internal system clock but that is not a problem, now I know it is functioning well. Thanks a lot.
